I have been working in the events industry full time since 1998 where I started out designing and building stages and all things events related. When I returned back to Ireland I took on the role of Operations Manager for Ireland largest LED screen hire company looking after all of Irelands major indoor and outdoor events along with television productions and overseeing the implementation of a major contract to supply mobile LED screens to horse racing nationally.In 2008 I was offered the role of Senior Event Technician in the newly imagined O2 arena (previously the Point Depot Dublin and now the 3Arena) where I look after the needs of some the worlds largest touring music and theatrical events.In 2014 my passion for lighting led me to start Coppergreen Design, a lighting design and manufacturing business based in Co. Wicklow, Ireland. My handmade lighting is supplied to a select number of Design shops and galleries around Ireland and my commision pieces can be seen hanging in private houses, commercial spaces and also the National Gallery of Ireland.
