August 1977: Commenced employment at Lawton Tools Ltd at Sandbach as a sales assistant in addition to my normal duties I erected shelving, reorganised stock and introduced a stock control system.October 1979: Appointed Branch Manager of new Stoke On Trent Branch where we have built a reputation for sourcing quality branded tools backed by a sound technical knowledge, comprehensive stocks and efficient delivery service. Many customers have been with us for over 30 years. The manufacturers in our supply portfolio are known for their excellence in their field IE: Walter_Titex, M A Ford, Tungaloy, Horn, Arno, OSG, Allied Engineering formally Allied Maxcut, Vardex, Facom, Bosch Plus a new addition Sandvik Coromant.After nearly 43 years of service it is time that I relinquished my position I am therefore retiring from Lawton Tools Ltd as of end April. I cannot retire completely and will look to take up a part time position. My thanks to all customers and suppliers for their support throughout my career.
