I am an active member and Captain of the Port Hedland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service (VFRS) where, in addition to fighting fires and responding to emergency situations I have helped the brigade with the implementation of the BART Emergency system. I have also been a previous member of Whitfords Sea Rescue unit.

Responsible for development and management of HSE systems and processes for a chemical manufacturing plant in Kwinana. I am also part of the Kwinana Leadership Team responsible for the successful operation and strategic direction of the facility and support ANZ level functions.

Facilitate the HSE management of contractors Australia wide. This involves the development of a consistent standardised process that will be embedded across the organisation on a national level. The system is being developed in alignment with government and corporate governance requirements. The process involves all activities from initial evaluation and system gap analysis, improvement plan development in consultation with contractor, kick off/expectation meetings, training, pre mobilisation processes, through to compliance audits, follow-up and contract close out. The contractor system engages with the Supply Chain, legal, commercial, licensing and accounting departments as key stakeholders in the process.

Lead and managed the HSE scope for the Ningaloo Vision Upgrade Project (NVUP);Aligned and managed the strategic direction for the NVUP HSE Project Team;Recruited and managed a team of 12 personnel with the HSE Project Department on the NVUP;Contractor/stakeholder engagement and management;Lead a team of HSE personnel in the safe execution of work scopes;Work with a Singapore shipyard and the Ministry of Manpower (Singapore) regulatory authorities to improve and manage safety performance;Manage and coordinate HAZID Risk Assessments; Management of the incident investigation process;Ensure emergency management processes;Work with all stakeholders to ensure safe delivery of projects within an operational environment and within the HSE budget.Key Achievements:Delivery of major project of over 3 million man hours LTI free within the HSE budget;Successfully lead many changes including cultural, process, educational and stakeholder engagement;Successful development and management of an international HSE team.

An active member of the Whiteford's Sea Rescue group covering offshore and radio room functions. The functions included vessel operation, towing, search & rescue, vessel log recording, search plan and coordination.

Managed all HES activities that impacted the Montara Venture FPSO and conversion of an oil tanker into an FPSO in the JSL shipyard in Singapore;Engagement and management of onsite Contractors;Ensured compliance with Australian Legislation when the FPSO re-entered Australian waters was seamless;Ensure PTTEPAA compliance with local Ministry of Manpower requirements In Singapore and Malaysia;Managed HES aspects for ‘sail down’ to the Montara field. Managed HSE aspects for construction/conversion/commissioning and then reconnection activities leading into operations;Overseen the topside replacement onto the jacket.Key Achievements:Delivered a safe working environment for all team members across the project with no LTI’s recorded throughout.

Participation in the Australasian Business Unit (ABU) as a CHESM (Contractor Health Environment Safety Management) Auditor;Lead auditing activities on all contractors who impacted the ABU; Contractor/customer/stakeholder consultation and communications;Leading an audit team in identifying and reporting all aspects required for critical contractor auditing, findings review and verification of suitable corrective and preventative actions closeout;

Managed and coordinated the documentation and preparation relating to the FEED stage of the Gorgon Project through to Stage 5;Managed the pre-qualification and onboarding of contractor companies.Management of the CHESM process for the Upstream Department;Led incident investigations using the Chevron Why Tree technique and RCA tool;Assisted in development and implementation of Integrated Management System IMS and PTW system;Successfully completed numerous offshore seismic vessel surveys;Developed presentations, training material and trained key personnel in the Chevron CHESM process.
