Leads and manages the Plans and Operations staff for a 18,000 Soldier U.S. Army Division. Provides recommendations to the Division Commander, Chief of Staff, and Chief of Operations on a variety of Division efforts and activities.

Instructed Graduate-level courses at the accredited U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. Crafted and synchronized plans for units deployed to Europe and communicated and coordinated with Embassies throughout eastern Europe and Allied militaries.

Attended and graduated the Command and General Staff College and School of Advanced Military Studies where I earned a Masters of Military Arts and Sciences. Focused on integrating historical understanding to inform solving complex problems using design methodolgy. Prepared multiple briefings and papers on the results of my research to include a final monograph length and oral comprehensive exam.

Served as the leader for a 10 person element that trained units on tactical operations at the U.S. Army's premier immersive training environment. Provided real-time feedback and mentorship to trainees, and created extensive after action reviews at the end of each training event.

Commanded a 100 Soldier U.S. Army Company while stationed stateside and while deployed to Afghanistan. Responsible for all aspects the training, welfare, and discipline of the Soldiers in the Troop. Planned, synchronized, and led operations while deployed, and mentored subordinates on career progression. Coordinated extensively with Afghan forces and local tribal and governmental leaders.

Professional development course focused on planning and leading the execution of operations, synchronizing operations with logistics, and cross functional leadership.

Responsible for beta testing a new Army training simulation and coordinating with a team of software engineers and contractors to create and execute training scenarios that prepared U.S. Army units for deployment.
