Delighted to be leading a fantastic team of 10 Education Specialist Relationship Managers.Lloyds Bank’s Education Team is dedicated to supporting schools* and academy trusts with a range of school banking services and specifically developed guidance in line with the latest ministerial direction. This ranges from support for schools considering the creation of a brand new trust to helping existing trusts with strategic growth preparation. We work with more academies than any other bank – 2 in 3 of all academies choose our services over other providers**. We are deeply immersed in your sector and continue to evolve to help you meet the demands of an ever changing educational landscape.Experience has taught us that a more hands-on approach is needed to get underneath the surface of a school’s needs. That’s why we have a team of relationship managers who get to know school trusts and their leaders and identify solutions to support their financial plans, plus other important areas such as employee financial wellbeing, fraud awareness, sustainability, financial efficiencies/cost reduction & streamlined banking structures to provide improved oversight and risk controls. All of our education relationship managers have a deep understanding of the sector. We also closely monitor changes made by the Department for Education (DFE) and Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) with key sector partners such as Confederation of School Trusts (CST) and Institute of School Business Leadership (ISBL) so that we’re able to provide relevant, value adding support.*supporting schools with a bank credit turnover of £3m+**As of 1 March 2021 around two in three of academies bank with Lloyds Bank.

As the lead Education Specialist for the northern half of the UK, I work with regional teams of Education Relationship Managers in addition to managing my own client portfolio of large multi academy trusts and independent schools.My support extends far beyond overseeing appropriate day to day banking services. Utilising experience gained over 15 years of being deeply immersed within the sector, I strive to support schools and trusts to streamline structures & processes, reduce costs and enhance income opportunities as well as orchestrating networking opportunities between clients and sector professionals. This range of valuable contacts includes accountants, solicitors, cashless payment providers, mini bus leasing and school finance companies - all with a high level of education sector experience.I also enjoy providing funding support to my independent school clients which has proven to be invaluable in recent times.My primary values are based around good old fashioned relationship banking - with an eye to creating efficiencies and offering personalised value adding support in the education sector.A face to face specialist role delivering high levels of customer service and support.
