Cooper Coated Coil are specialists in the design, production and worldwide distribution of pre-coated metals. We can coat a wide variety of metal substrates for functionality and decorative purposes, and can deliver in coil or blanked sheets to anywhere in the world.My role within the business is to research possible applications for coil coating technologies, develop relationships within relevant industries and to subsequently create new opportunities in line with the company's strategy for growth.

Toolspec are specialists in tubular manipulations and complex welded assemblies. They supply blue chip customers in the construction, agricultural and automotive industries.My role there was to liaise with customers and ascertain their requirements for new projects. I would then developed a proposed method of manufacture, and communicate with suppliers in order to obtain quotes for materials at a competitive price and with favourable terms. This allowed me to put together a quotation which would then be discussed internally with the Technical Team before submission to the customer. On receipt of a purchase order, I would take responsibility for the purchasing of materials for the initial batch of parts, and take part in the planning of initial batch manufacture. This would include compiling work instructions, creating annotated images of the assemblies and their component parts using Autodesk CAD software, and also communicating with colleagues from the technical and production teams to ensure that initial samples were delivered to the customer on time and to a high quality standard.In addition to the above, I assisted with the initial implementation of Toolspec's first ERP system.

Given responsibility for leading the replenishment section during store opening hours, managing a team of up to 10 people.Provided excellent customer service in a fast paced environment. Designated key holder, trusted to open and lock the branch, whilst taking responsibility for the store and colleagues within. Branch 'SPOC' - site point of contact for technical issues encountered within the branch.
