Marvel Gold Limited is a Mali-focused gold explorer with gold exploration projects and extensive landholdings in South Mali. Oversaw the acquisition and growth of the Tabakorole gold project to +1Moz.

Graphex Mining Limited developed the high grade and coarse flake Chilalo Graphite Project in south east Tanzania. The project is fully permitted, has completed a DFS and is seeking project finance for development.

IMX Resources is an ASX listed company with landholdings in south east Tanzania. The Company's main focus during this time was the development of the Chilalo Graphite Project. During this time, the project was developed from first drill hole to PFS stage, received environmental approvals and had materially advanced offtake and finance discussions following a large time commitment to understanding the graphite market in China. IMX restructured its multi-commodity asset portfolio with the creation of a new graphite-focused ASX listed company, Graphex Mining Limited.

IMX Resources is an ASX/TSX listed mining company with an operating iron ore mine in South Australia producing 1.8Mtpa and exploration and development projects in Australia and Africa for iron ore, nickel and copper. IMX has annual turnover of approximately A$200m.Following September 2014, I accepted the CEO position and led the transition of IMX from iron ore producer to Tanzanian graphite developer. Key Achievements:- Manage the $99m merger of TSX-V listed Continental Nickel Limited and IMX Resources including TSX listing process and subsequent merger integration activities.- Negotiation and documentation of US$60m exploration JV with MMG over Nachingwea Project in Tanzania – largest exploration JV in the world in last 5 years.- Contribute to improvement in iron ore operations through optimisation review, contract review, mine plan revisions, cost reductions and improvements in sales terms.- Securing $15m debt facility for iron ore operation under difficult circumstances.Responsibilities include statutory reporting, taxation (compliance and structuring), treasury (cash management, FX, hedging, project finance), investor relations, JV management, commercial negotiations, risk management, strategy, Board reporting, HR and IT management.

Description of IMX provided under CFO role. Spent 6 months in the role of financial controller until being appointed CFO.

Aspen Developments is the property development arm of the ASX listed Aspen Group Limited. Fund No. 1 contained 18 development projects across Australia and spanning residential, commercial, retirement and healthcare.Key Achievements:- Involved in commercial negotiations and modelling for 30,000m2 Agreement for Lease for commercial office space and subsequent purchase and forward funding agreement for $185m office tower- Undertaking succesful $35m capital raising during GFC- Undertaking several successful refinancings of senior debt facilities during GFC – Fund debt reduced from ~$185m at commencement of role to ~$70m upon departureResponsibilities include statutory reporting, taxation, treasury (cash and debt facility management and refinancing), complex financial modelling and scenario analysis, DD and Board reporting.

Nakheel International is a subsidiary of Nakheel, the world’s largest privately owned property company, based in Dubai. Role included:- Oversee financial reporting for 16 entities with property worth £1.4b, including conversions from UK GAAP to IFRS.- Oversee the preparation of 60 sets of UK GAAP financial statements.- Create monthly reporting framework back to Dubai head office and oversee monthly management reporting.- Discussions with banks regarding development funding and financial modelling for project feasibilities.

Atlas Estates was an AIM listed property development company with development projects in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Atlas Estates were seeking a listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange to assist in funding Polish development projects. Prospectus required 3 year financial history and Atlas Estates had gone through several acquisitions over the prior 3 years. Role included:- Preparation of 3 years multi-currency consolidated IFRS financial statements for 4 groups of companies (€1.3m for the audit of these accounts).- Distributed reporting packs to financial heads of subsidiaries in the various countries.- Prepared consolidation journals for 4 multi-currency groups over 3 financial periods.- Assist investment bankers with financial aspects of prospectus.- Offered permanent role as financial reporting manager prior to departure.

Caversham Property Group was the property arm of ASX listed Futuris Corp Limited. Towards the end of my role, the Group was being sold to ASX listed Aspen Group. The Group had 18 property developments across Australia and during my time were constructing a $140m office tower in Adelaide. Role included:- Management accounts and financial Board reports.- Statutory reporting packs through to head office.- Tax consolidation and compliance.- Assistance with preparation for disposal and Share Sale Agreement.

RCR Tomlinson are a large ASX listed engineering and mining services company. Role included:- Assistance with month end reporting.- Preparation of audit workpapers, assist with preparation of annual report and subsidiairies financial statements. Liaise with auditors.- Preparation of consolidated tax effect accounting entries.- Prepared R&D claim.

Working in the Entrepreneurial Growth Markets division which was largely taxation as well as preparation of financial statements for mid-market size companies or high net worth groups. Completed CA here.
