• Supervising Inspector – oversaw the Mobile Response Team which conducted quarantine inspections of goods deemed to be Quarantine Risk Material (QRM) upon entry into WA. I also conducted inspections in the field, completed non-compliance reports when goods failed to meet Import Regulations – which involved gathering and capturing evidence etc.• I undertook periods of leave relief at a higher level [L5] – acting as State Operations Manager for QWA.• Interpreted legislation/guidelines governing imported items entering WA under the Plant Diseases Act & Regs, The Beekeepers Act and the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act (BAMA).• Performed duties under a Quality Assurance Scheme – ensuring proper procedures were managed by both importers and exporters.
