• Build robust, well-tested solutions using C#, ASP.Net and SQL Server on a large monolithic code base including significant performance improvement, algorithm design work• Utilize Gitlab CI & Octopus Deploy to introduce solid build pipelines to quicken release cycles for more reliable QA and faster feedback• Design and build new dashboards to bring customer insights to a unique data-driven industry• Apply design patterns and refactor code to improve performance, security, and maintainability• Establish internal experimental time to be able to find new ideas and technology that can be applied to future business ideas (e.g. “hack weeks”)

Creates enterprise web and mobile solutions using HTML, Javascript, and ASP.NET as part of an agile team. Leverages different frontend technologies to suit the project including Knockout, Backbone, and Durandal. Backend systems are created with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or WCF. Strong focus on creating enterprise quality systems using Inversion of Control, Dependency Injection patterns to separate concerns and create testable solutions.

Worked as part of the HR Solutions team to add features and deploy a HR portal to employees throughout Canada and Latin America. Investigated and solved site performance issues as well as developed a cross-domain trust relationship to be able to use AD authentication.Technologies utilized: Java, Javascript, HTML, Active Directory (ADAM)

Participated in the Google Summer of Code program working remotely with the Open Source Application Foundation adding features to their personal information management software Chandler. Developed new features to existing program using Python, collaborated with software team in San Francisco.
