Key achievements include:- Launched AIA Opportunities Fund, a multi-billion USD Private Markets vehicle aggregating investment across AIA Group, going from from conception to incorporation to investment strategy in nine months.- Led re-development of AIA Group's asset allocation process. This was a multi-million USD project which included setting new methodologies, developing a dynamic daily risk budgeting approach, and running a development team to implement a blend of off-the-shelf (Ortec GLASS) and in-house built tools for analysis, reporting, and CIO decision support.- Worked closely with Actuarial, Finance, and Derivatives colleagues to design and execute hedges in the billions of dollars of notional, spanning multiple currencies and exposures.- Drove set up of AIA VCC, a Singapore umbrella fund entity, to centralise and standardise delivery of investment product across the enterprise.- Pioneered investment in High Yield fixed income for the Group.
