The main activities associated with the role are below:• Researching the local labour market, conducting daily searches for vacancies and recruitment opportunities, to build knowledge around vacancies and work with Advisors to understand the types of work that our customers are looking for, using this knowledge to prepare regular gap analysis that is shared with Advisors and key stakeholders.• Building and maintaining effective relationships with both local and national employers, identifying those that are most likely to recruit our customers and sharing knowledge with Advisors and key stakeholders.• Review all notified vacancies taken by Employer Direct and Employer Direct on-line that are assigned to my office, check for discrimination, missing mandatory statements, correct submission arrangements and assess what added value the vacancy and employer may bring to the business.• Work with the Business Development Managers in District office and Senior Relationship Managers in National Employer Services Teams to develop and maintain effective communication channels between employers and Jobcentre Plus colleagues.
