About Phil Kerry

I’m the proud Chief Executive of the fantastic and much needed, New Horizon Youth Centre. And for as long as young people find themselves homeless and unsafe in London, we will be a mission to give their potential a home. As such a lot of my LinkedIn musing tend to be on youth homelessness and the need for our country to better invest in young people and the services that enable them to reach their potential. I am also a passionate advocate for what charities can and do achieve and so I tend to share thought on the sector and the need for better leadership too. My real job is being Daddy to two wonderful girls and whilst I don’t share so many of my reflections on that role here, I’m certainly learning all the time, and often pretty tired. Outside of that (and let’s face it, that’s basically no time) I spend time mentoring younger people in the sector, sit on the Board of OVO Energy’s Foundation, post wild ideas on LinkedIn and am the occasional organiser of Cock-up Cocktails - a sector networking event around failure. 💻 More info at nhyouthcentre.org.uk/ 💵 Donate via nhyouthcentre.org.uk/donate
