About Phil Macdonald

I helped build Ember from a handful of people passionate about climate, to a global team of more than 50 today. At Ember, as well as keeping the organisation running, my research and analysis focuses on UK electricity policy, with highlights including leading the campaign which persuaded the Conservative government to target a clean power sector by 2035, and Labour's target for the same by 2030.My background is in political campaigning and climate activism.
