About Phil Mcdermott

After 9 fantastic years at London Metal Exchange Group my time has come to move on to pastures new. My experience at LME has been awesome, and this is mainly due to the people that work at that fine old organisation - thanks to you all. I'm so very proud to have been involved throughout the many crisis management events and incidents over the last few years. I'm particularly pleased with having been the accountable manager for the ISO22301 certifications since 2014; having never had a non conformity. Lastly, the opportunity to chair the FMI Operational Resilience Group has been most enlightening, and I'm hoping to continue this position following my move to my new firm.I'm currently enjoying some time off until I start my new role in October and will update my details once I have commenced with that role with another London based FMI firm.Have a great summer everyone (what's left of it!) and I hope to see you later in the year.Phil
