Working with Springvale Employment and Learning Solutions, as an Employment Adviser, I am responsible for supporting participants into sustainable employment through the 'Steps to Success' programme. 'Steps to Success' is a government initiative designed to focus on placing the unemployed into sustainable employment and targeted at those most in need. I am able to provide employee's who have received vocational training and employment advice and are 'work ready'. Springvale has a dedicated delivery team to up skill your staff and increase your opportunities for achievement and success through bespoke training packages. We will provide you with an Employer Engagement Consultant, who will create a customised plan that allows us to match skills, abilities and interests to your job role. Whether your requirement is the up skilling of existing employees through Apprenticeship NI programme, assisting returning to work candidates through Steps to Success or placing future employees through our youth programme Training for Success we will provide the solution. I was the contact person for queries on government funded training programmes eg Apprenticeships, NVQ's and Essential Skills, for employees aged 16-24 and working 21+ hours per week, and was the ‘go to’ person in regard to any private training needed. Funded Apprenticeships included:-Hospitality-Retail-Customer service-Business Admin-Customer service Part of the role included working with individuals and companies, help them identify their training needs and point them towards courses/programmes which might be of benefit, taking into account any funding opportunities that were available.
