In my Sales position I was responsible for marketing our network of independent pharmacies to Assisted Living and Long-Term Care Facilities. I was able to facilitate meetings with the administrators or directors of multiple facilities around New Jersey, and effectively present our companies offering to them.

I contributed a weekly column (Phillin' The Lane) that appeared on the Basketball Australia Website (www.basketball.net.au) following the Australian National Team players abroad in the US and Europe. I attended local games that featured Australian players with my NBA/NCAA press pass in order to interview the players and offer analysis of the games.

While in Australia I assisted in Marketing meetings where I offered my opinions on various strategies and their implementation. I also drafted press releases and feature stories for their website in addition to maintaining, updating, and creating parts of the league site.

Starting in June 2008 I was employed as an intern at Enterprise Rent-a-Car where I performed everyday rental activities that added to the Branch's profitability. I have gained experience in sales, customer service, and marketing during the six months I spent with them. I had to discontinue working in December 2008 because I couldn''t carry the hours while.
