This is what I do now. Make interesting things out of wood. From set building to domestic carpentry. I try to pick projects that are interesting and a little different. I have worked with companies such as Block9,The Glastonbury Festival, AD Events, Ingenius, The Arcola theatre to name a few. I started working as Creativ Carpentry to take more creative charge over my projects. I find myself diversifying into all manner of interesting media but try and tie it in with some interesting and bespoke woodwork.

With colleagues I travelled around putting on free events and living an alternative and more sustainable lifestyle than most. Some of the things I learned from this experience: I learned to work in groups. Multi task and organise multi disciplined teams into a coherent concept that took the form of multi media live events. I also learned to deal with legal teams both liaising with organisers and the local authorities. I learned to incorporate budget responsibilities in the procurement of materials and consumables into the running of the events. It was a interesting time and then in 1994 the government Decided to pull the plug on the experiment, presumably due to the fact that there had become a coherent underground culture that promoted inclusiveness, creativeness, sustainability and freedom of expression. That was a rival to the conservative status quo. I often think that if we had been allowed to flourish and promote the positive agenda the world wouldn't be in quite the mess it is now.

babble collective soundsystem came into being in 1992. As a reaction to the lifeless opportunities for recreational dance music in Leicester, where I was studying for a BA in visual arts. From its outset it was an immediate success. In fact changing the face of the dance music scene in Leicester altogether . The outfit still continues to this day in the capable hands of colleagues who took the reigns when the original members diversified. At its height babble ran two sell out club nights a month with a combined capacity of over 1000 plus chill out events in smaller venues. Our bass speakers and Dj's were used to supplement the events of smokescreen and DiY soundsystems at numerous free parties around the country. It was a great time :) oh did i forget to mention BANKSY did all our early flyers and used to make a lot of toast and cups of tea.
