Needham is a native of Great Britain and holds a diploma in agriculture and an honors degree in agricultural technology from Cranfield University in England. Needham grew up on his family farm and first visited the USA in 1989. He joined Miles Enterprises (based in Owensboro, KY) as an agronomist in 1990. Needham was promoted to Opti-Crop (a division within Miles Enterprises) Manager in 1996, where he managed a team of crop consultants and crop management projects from Texas to Manitoba and from Virginia to Washington State. In 2005, Needham started his own company Needham Ag Technologies, LLC. based near Calhoun, KY. Needham specializes in agronomy consulting and performs these activities for agricultural retailers, manufacturers and growers around the world. Not only does Needham help identify trends, he also helps start them, by networking with numerous agronomists around the world. Needham also conducts 60-70 conferences, grower meetings, field days and no-till clinics around the world each year. Needham also provides agronomy services for Farm Journal, including speaking at their Wheat College events and writing a regular agronomy column within Farm Journal magazine.
