Phil Newnes is a National Marketing and Communications Manager at APS Industrial. Colleagues describe him as "Having worked at NHP over an extensive period of growth, both personally and as a business, I liked to think I achieved a great deal in my time there. However, without a doubt my greatest achievement was hiring Phil and watching him develop in his role. My role of managing Phil was a dream. He rarely if ever put a foot wrong, he often knew what to do before I even had to ask, he was a fantastic sounding board for me with my tasks and he is a genuinely empathetic and fantastic guy. Phil's attitude and friendly demeanour means he is destined for leadership roles and his thought-process often belies his age and experience. He was always an absolute pleasure to work with and I will miss not having him by my side. Phil would be an asset to any workplace he considers in the future and I would welcome a call to explain my endorsement above further. The only problem is that if you do hire Phil, be warned that I will be forever lurking in the background trying to recruit him to my place of work, however, in saying that, I won't be surprised if one day I report to Phil given his drive to succeed."
