Established Film & TV screenwriter & director with over 20 years experience. I've written three produced feature films (Vampire Diary, Spirit Trap & The Harpist) & over 30 hours of produced TV drama. Won best film at the Milan International Film Festival + 3 other major awards for Vampire Diary which I also co-directed. Other awards include the UK Film Council £10,000 '25 Words or less' award, special drama prize Tours Film Festival, documentary ward Toronto etc. I wrote and directed The Crane starring Jude Law and Lee Ross for the British Film Institute. I'm based in London but I have also worked in the US and Germany. I have representation in London and L.A. Up until 2018, for part of the week, I was Programme Director and Senior Lecturer in Screenwriting on the MA Creative Writing (Playwriting & Screenwriting) at City, University of London. I am still frequently invited to give lectures on screenwriting and I've lectured in the UK, Germany, Portugal and New Zealand. I was External Examiner for Screenwriting at the Universities of Bournemouth, Derby, Bedfordshire and at Birkbeck College. I am a member of the Writers' Guild Film Committee.
