I started work for Paul Simon in September 1997, opening their sixth store in Stevenage. The following year Stevenage was the top turnover store in the company. Upon leaving school in 1986 I went into employment with Harveys whom I had worked with since 1983 as a Saturday sales assistant. I started as a sales assistant responsible for advising customers on Curtain and Bed products.In 1987 I became the youngest store manager for the Group, managing a store with a 500K turnover.
