Reporting to the Head of Revenue Protection and Security, I am responsible for the operation of two Revenue Protection depots, managing Revenue Protection Officers working on trains and at stations. The teams are closely monitored and supported to ensure high levels of staff engagement, whilst ensuring their skills are used to best advantage, maximising the revenue generated for the company at the same time as detecting and preventing ticketless and fraudulent travel.

I was responsible for the operation of two Revenue Protection depots in the London area at London Waterloo and Clapham Junction station with a team of around 60 staff.

I had overall responsibility for the operation of Woking Station together with a further 7 stations in the area, managing a team of 4 managers and approximately 100 staff.  I maintained highly effective working relationships with staff and the management team alike, ensuring the necessary processes were adhered to in accordance with Company and Governmental regulation.

(whilst in the substantive role of Flagship Station Manager...)Reporting directly to the Head of Stations and Customer Service Director, I was responsible for the design and implementation of the first CCTV train dispatch system on the South West Trains network. I also laid the foundations for the system to be installed at numerous locations across the network.Having been asked to identify new and innovative ways of managing stations on the South West Trains network, I reviewed the staffing and infrastructure at numerous key stations in order to generate and protect maximum revenue whilst working within strict budgetary constraints.

I was responsible for the management of 27 stations within the Woking, Guildford and Basingstoke areas, covering 3 major stations and 24 smaller stations.  I led a team of 19 managers, two Support Clerks and approximately 270 staff, successfully delivering high standards of customer service, safety and performance, maximising revenue streams and working within budgetary constraints.  I regularly liaised with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communications were maintained in order to enhance the company's reputation and financial success.
