I am responsible for collating and editing traffic and travel information from a variety of different sources. Both my editorial and broadcast roles require the ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment and require an extensive knowledge of the UK's traffic and travel networks. I also need to work well as part of a team in order to deliver the best possible standard of service. Since joining this station in the summer of 2012 I have fulfilled a variety of different roles. I have presented a wide variety of different programmes on the station. These range from talk-based political, cultural and sports programmes to more music based shows including the staple formats of Breakfast and Drivetime and request shows. I have also provided my voice for various promotional purposes as well as taking part in the stations roadshows and outside broadcasts.

I was responsible for ensuring a smooth running of daily bookshop transactions as well as managing our highly diverse stock which included not only commercially available books but also academic texts. I provided a welcoming environment and a courteous, knowledgable presence for all visitors and staff. I also promoted and assisted in numerous events held at the bookshop that involved visiting authors and academics
