Have joined WaterNSW in a new direction in my working life. Heading back onto the tools to continue working in a team environment maintaining and completing Dam Safety Inspections and all facets of maintenance in the Shoalhaven Area NSW. Being trained in aspects of Dam Safety has broadened my knowledge around a not often thought of infrastructure that remains vital for one of our basic needs - water.I have undertaken many new training courses in the first few months of my new role which has given me a new perspective on many things

Have joined Dean Industrial to work in the Industrial, Commercial & Residential protective coating industry as the WHS Manager and Site Supervisor. In amongst these roles I also look after the plant & equipment at both the Dean industrial and Krop industrial yards utilising my mechanical trade back ground. I have recently completed the Electrical Test & Tag licence and also have become a Lead Paint Responsible Person which is required for the safe removal and disposal of lead paint. This new role is pretty much left field from what I have previously done all my working life. Its a great new challenge and it has been a good learning curve understanding a new business and requirements for safe blasting and coating applications.

Managing a team of 7 trade & non trade guys to allow quick response maintenance to be carried out on break downs. Assist in maintaining line reliability, Ensure process line inspections and planned inspection schedules that incorporating preventative maintenance measures are completed on time, supervise shut downs, supervise contractors - The role also entails managing costs, achieving BSL safety stds, achieving targeted OEE (product through put), planing line improvements, reducing running costs. Manage Team AA projects, Liase with planning team to complete tasks out side planned shuts
