I provide a descriptive commentary service over short wave FM radio for visually impaired supporters (home and away) at Ipswich Town games.Unlike football commentary which covers the game, updates and reflection; descriptive commentary is real-time description on what is happening on the pitch (sometimes off it too!)Initially part of the Soccer Sight project run by the RNIB the service is not standalone and run by the football club.I have also commentated on the IBSA World Blind Football Championships 2010 in Hereford.I have been supporting Cambridge Fans United (CFU) in setting up and training volunteers to run the same service at Cambridge United Football Club

I produced, and presented a 20-30 minute daily audio podcast for the Cambridge Folk Festival aimed at enhancing the festival go-ers experience of the folk festival as well as informing and entertaining those who were not lucky enough to go to the event. The Podcast was pre-recorded and produced in the day and uploaded several hours later for download. I organised, recorded presented and produced the entire product including arranging all legal requirements for use of music and interviews.

YourMusicBusiness.co.uk (YMB) is a web resource used by thousands of students at Universities, Colleges,schools and music workshops to be inspired and to learn about business and enterprise within the Industry using knowledge from those leading the industry. Providing high quality video and audio content from leading professionals such as Ed Sheeran, BBC 1Xtra, Festival Republic and many more; YMB can be accessed through phones, tablets and in the classroom.Lecturers in FE and HE do not always have the specialist knowledge, or contacts to support young people in music business education. The UK music industry is 95% based in London and not often able to visit FE ad HE due to costs and time. As an online tool, YMB also supports education centres aim to be more accessible by offering blended and distance learning. YMB supports staff with teaching resources too. The aim... to support young people building viable careers and enterprise in the music industry.

This level 4 course focuses on supporting students in career and business development through reflection, challenges and identifying opportunity to grow and become sustainable.
