• Responsibility for the Ambient Warehousing operation within a composite Distribution Centre. DC supplies ambient, chilled and frozen food 7 days a week to 100 stores in the Midlands and Southern Region. Direct.
• Volumes: @6k pallets inbound weekly, and a store order volume of @350k cases per week picked, assembled and dispatched. Store order lead times less than 24 hours.
• The business is experiencing extraordinary growth, volumes up over 40% YOY.
• Manage a team of 4 Shift Supervisors, responsible for a total FTE 100.
• Responsible for all aspects including volume and resource planning, stock management, systems, warehouse operations, administration, Health & Safety, staff training and development.

• Excellent team manager co-ordinating team of 2 Supervisors and 30 Operatives on a daily basis.
• Pick and despatch volumes of @40k daily, loading 40 trailers per shift.
• Prioritise daily workloads and delegate duties to warehouse operatives in accordance to individual skills and capabilities. Responsible for training and development of my team.
• Ensure stock is stored safely in accordance to the company Health and Safety Guidelines
• Work closely with suppliers and transport companies – co-ordinating intake and despatch.
• Organise deliveries in accordance to deadlines and time departure plans
