I provide cross-functional leadership and develop and support business processes and the technology behind them for every department at Flexo Concepts (from Marketing to HR to Accounting) while maintaining direct responsibility for our Customer Service, Customer Experience and Supply Chain verticals.In this role, there are very few business processes I don't touch or advise on in some way, particularly as it relates to our highest operational mandate--that all of these essential processes either occur natively on, or can be accessed and reported on within the Salesforce platform.As the Salesforce admin at Flexo Concepts and in my role as VP of Operations & Tech, I have had the unique privilege and pleasure of working closely with every member of our team to design, build, test and deploy over 75 apps and interfaces tailored to the needs of our business, and to have worked on over 300 automations that are responsible for maintaining data integrity, reducing clicks, transforming and uplifting the experience of our employees and customers across over half a million touchpoints every month.If I could highlight just one project, it would be FC Marketplace, a B2B ecommerce solution that I designed and built using exclusively Lightning Flow and hosted on the Salesforce Digital Experience platform. This integration-free tool provides our customers with all of the features we take for granted with eComm at a fraction of the cost to our business when compared to all commercially available products we reviewed. Because our entire business, including our ERP, Certinia, is native on the platform, this gives our customers the unique opportunity to be interacting with the same data available to our own team members with zero delay, zero sync errors, and customized to who they are, what they buy and how we can help them specifically.More than anything, it is my great joy to teach and to learn from my FC teammates as we do this fun and exciting work together.

I oversee a team of Customer Experience Specialists while retaining broad and deep operational responsibilities that impact the day-to-day workings of the entire company. Among many things, my responsibilities include acting as our Salesforce admin, managing our entire supply chain, working with 3rd party programmers to develop web apps to support our manufacturing operations, forecasting demand for our raw materials, managing all logistics for the organization, budgeting for large swath of our operational expenses, and acting as a hub between our customers and the business. I am heavily involved virtually all business decisions, from packaging design to product pricing to employee involvement activities to who we buy our paperclips from. Examples of significant projects I have managed include the development of our homegrown MRP and the dismantling of our European 3PL warehouse in favor of direct shipment from the US via a new freight channel.At the core of all of this, my greatest responsibility and commitment is to serve and support our customers, without whom all else would be moot. With my team, I use principals of Continuous Improvement to drive the greatest efficiency and profitability we can achieve while delivering a customer experience that leaves the rest of our industry looking dusty and stale and feeling embarrassed.

In this role, I am responsible for daily procurement and vendor management activities as well as for scheduled, ad-hoc and project-based reporting and analysis in support of company objectives. I report directly to the company's controller and collaborate with senior management to perform focused studies in areas such as material-handling, inventory control, productivity, process-flow and cost analysis. I use Excel at an advanced level to create tools and report that are accessible an easily digestible for the purpose of informed decision making by coworkers, management and the company owners.

Woodworking is a personal passion for me. In my free time, I practice custom woodworking ranging from small projects such as jewelry boxes to large ones like furniture and built-in bookcases. I am self-taught and use my experience in design, graphic design and project management to guide myself start-to-finish through complex projects that may require me to learn new techniques. I have a natural technical and mechanical aptitude which help me make pieces that are not only attractive but which are also functional.

In this job, I was responsible for the start-to-finish oversight of large purchase orders from key retail accounts, such as Target, Safeway and Dollar Tree. This was a project management role that included elements of sales support, customer service, data entry, trend analysis, production planning and accounting. The job required coordinating all activities across a period of months between the customer, design team, internal and external sales teams, QC team, logistics team, finance team and lastly, the overseas manufacturing facility. Typical POs I worked on ranged from $500k-1.5M in value and the experience was absolutely fabulous at developing my communication and time management skills, as well as catering to my strong attention to detail.

In this position, I oversaw a staff of 7 production employees and was accountable for every aspect of the manufacturing sector of Flexo Concepts. These responsibilities included daily production planning, product quality, employee safety, management of raw material, tooling and general supply purchasing, facilitating equipment, building and property maintenance, hiring new employees, and coordination of activities with sales, customer service, accounting, engineering and ownership. I gained valuable experience in product design, equipment design, lean manufacturing, team-building and vendor management.
