I’m not an artist, musician, or writer. But I love being creative. And what I love most to create is microchips. My whole career is about fabricating various semi-conductor sensors and devices. It’s what I do best.I consider myself a hybrid process engineer. I’m very comfortable with hands-on processing in the clean room. I’m equally at home developing new processes, training technicians, and writing up procedures. InP, GaAs, HgCdTe, and Silicon are familiar substrates. I’ve even spent some quality time fabricating micro-mechanical devices. Strengths are photo-lithography, etching - both RIE (Reactive Ion Etch) and wet chemical etch. Also sample preparation and SEM analysis. Quite familiar with thin films (metal and dielectrics), diffusion, wafer thinning and dice separation. When not in the clean-room I enjoy the outdoors. Paddling and hiking, X/C skiing and biking are my year-round activities. Oh, did I mention travel....So, do you need a hand in the fab? If so please message me with job opportunities.
