My background encompasses a broad range of business management, environmental services, sales, brand and product marketing, customer service, cost containment, employee supervision, product development, and safety planning experience derived from working in unrelated industries for more than twenty years. I’ve worn many hats from small business owner to mid-level manager with a Fortune 500 company focusing on inspiring people to succeed and achieve their goals. In landfill operation, I interacted with multiple layers of regulators, elected officials, neighboring landowners, employees, and upper management.On the side, I have invested in real estate completing the search and negotiation process, purchase, renovation, and management of several single-family, duplex, fourplex and condominium dwellings throughout my career. I currently own and manage multiple single family rental houses. As a landfill manager, I negotiated the purchase of land surrounding the site to create a buffer zone between the neighbors.As an avid outdoorsman growing up in Minnesota, I developed a love for winter, cold weather, and snow and competed in cross country skiing. Motocross and enduro racing were other sports I participated in, winning the MN State Enduro Championship title while in college.
