I think of myself as a creative, empathic and strong communicator,— someone who tries to extrapolate into the future the possible effects of decisions (technological and otherwise) made in the present.Lately, I notice I spend more time than I used to ‘clearing the way’ and removing obstacles to my other teammates’ productivity.I have diverse development, support and team role experience in the Space Industry. Mainly around software development, including ground, test, flight (NIRCam — for which I invented a novel flight software architecture and won a Lockheed Martin Extraordinary Engineering Technology Award — and SUVI), analysis software. I have been a Flight Software Certified Principal Engineer (NIRCam), Flight Software Lead (SUVI, LMX), and Delegate Program Manager (SUVI). I really like supporting people and their career trajectories, as well as coming up with and supporting new technology use cases and product ideas, as well as mentoring, encouraging, team building -- and generally working with others in a team environment towards a delivery goal.I am a "start from where we are every day" and "walk the factory floor" people person.
