Role reporting to UK Sportsbook Director.Responsibilities and achievements include:- Leading the Commercial Football team to win the 2023 EGR award for Best Football Operator.- Driving the Commercial Strategy process for the 23/24 and 24/25 (& Euros) season briefs. Promotion from Retail Finance Analyst Role. Similar responsibilities but focused 100% on Commercial revenue.Post merge of UK Retail and Online Exec teams to form one UK Exec team. Key stakeholders changed to UK Sportsbook Director and Sportsbook SLT, UK Marketing Director and Trading Director.Responsibilities and achievements:- Made significant improvements in forecast capability in UK Online, similar to what I had developed previously in Retail. Gave the UK Exec team greater confidence in the Sportsbook forecast.- Lead the annual Budget process for UK Sportsbook- Heavily involved in the response to the Gambling review at the start of 2021, working closely with senior leaders across the business to quantify potential impact to William Hill and knock on impact to macro environment (Racing funding, streaming providers, taxes etc).- Support UK Sportsbook team in offer and proposition business cases to drive commercial laydown changes.- Integral to big event strategy for Sportsbook, providing insight on previous events successes/failures and informing the strategy moving forward.

Role focused almost entirely on driving revenue performance for the Retail business.- Responsible for development of new forecasting processes to inform more accurate projections based on sporting calendar down to minor sport level.- Integral to the modelling of business recovery scenarios through COVID lockdowns and restrictions throughout 2020. This was supported with insightful analysis post-COVID, used to inform the Budget for 2021.- Full ownership of Retail Trading reporting sent to the Retail Exec Team on a daily, weekly and periodic basis. Responsible for the complete overhaul of all reports to provide the Exec team with the insight they needed.- Close relationships with the Retail Exec team, being point of contact on any Sports or Gaming Commercial queries- Management of critical Retail support cost centres in Broadcast and Trading. Including budgeting, reporting and regular budget holder contact.- Direct line manager to a Commercial Finance Analyst. Supported growth of said person that ultimately led to internal promotion into BI.

Promotion from previous role in Finance BP Team - Home Credit- Instrumental in the August 2017 profit warning announcement when business went from £100m profit to £(100)m loss after a disastrous overnight strategy change. Designed a new forecasting model in the space of weeks after all financial KPI relationships were destroyed by the significant change.
