About Phil Sofer
Since graduating from Norwich School of Art in 1998, I worked on a wide range of creative projects. Working freelance in photography, film and design, previous work has included corporate identity, promotional materials, website design and editorial design for a number of publications. I have also produced, edited and directed promotional films. Photography work has included commissions, festivals and events with work widely published through magazines and websites, having also exhibited personal work at a number of galleries. Clients have included: BBC, Towersey Festival, Larmer Tree Festival, Victoria & Albert Museum, Horniman Museum & Gardens and Emap Publications.I also have over 20 years experience working with cultural heritage collections in technical roles, delivering over 60 exhibitions and touring shows in 9 countries. Roles have includes exhibition planning, the design and manufacture of bespoke object mounts, leading installation teams and creating specialist packing for UK and International loans and touring exhibitions.
