• Oversaw the annual enterprise upgrade of Autodesk Vault and the AutoCAD Inventor Suite, including 500 engineers and designers across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.• Formed an engineering technology team in collaboration with the chief engineer; the team comprised a head engineer from each engineering group, plus a handful of engineering experts and IT members. • Set a goal to bring engineering and IT together to look at new, innovative ways to engineer for the future, meeting once per month and covering a wide range of topics, including current engineering technology projects, new technology, process improvement, standardization, engineering to manufacturing, training, and outside consultants.• Worked with the infrastructure team to help create a new VM server solution for each manufacturing facility to reduce the number of physical servers needed at the plant while providing the ability to add or subtract server footprint on the fly and at no cost. Saved an upfront expense of $25,000 per plant.• Collaborated with ten engineering groups to standardize and consolidate their engineering design software and licensing. Demonstrated how standardizing on one design software and sharing licenses would reduce the overall cost of software, saving over 50% in licensing cost.
