After graduating from NC State University in 1981 I embarked on a 36+ year career with Nalco Chemical Company which was later purchased by Ecolab (2011) and is now known as Nalco Water - an Ecolab Company. During this time I spent 13 years in Field Sales, 5 years in Corporate Account Management, and 19 years in Field Sales Management. While each job was enjoyable and provided it's own unique challenges my role as a District Sales Manager was hands down the most rewarding and fulfilling.After retiring early I took two years off and have now started my second career as the Director of Business Development for Hire Horizons, a national recruiting firm which played a prominent role in my success as a hiring manager with Nalco...so if you're reading this, look us up...we have a great story to tell and would love to help you with any recruiting needs or challenges you may have.
