Based at the warehouse located within the port of Southampton, my primary responsibility was to efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of the Inbound Logistics activities for over 30 clients spread across three warehouses, having a total capacity of 65,000 pallets.Ensuring full compliance of customs clearance documents (bonded & free circulation) before shipment/delivery takes place. It was my responsibility to minimise container quay rent, demurrage and detention charges by using outside storage facilities, and arranging overnight collections.
