The charity is a significant local property and landowner with assets of £16m.• Heads up a team of five staff who deal with grants to the education (50%) and welfare (25%) sectors with the balance of awards going to arts & communities and other areas. • Responsible for providing leadership, developing and implementing the charities strategic and business plans, leading on partnership and business development and an advocate for the charity and beneficiaries.• Operational management and financial control and ensures good governance across all aspects of the organisation.• Represents the organisation at various social and business fundraising events.• Responsible for promotion through social media, local news and other platforms.• Liaises with and promotes good working relationships with other agencies and local government.• Liaise with the board to ensure that the overall governance structure, policies and procedures are appropriate and effective, taking remedial measures and implementing changes as necessary. • Attend board meetings and prepare detailed reports for review.
