Aircraft Engineering Manager for 32TR (The Royal) Squadron which included all aspects of Forward & Depth Aircraft Maintenance. Aircraft Utilised; BAE 146 (100 & RJ Series) & BAE125 700 Series.Key responsibilities included:Management of Aircraft Maintenance within a MRP Pt 145 MAOS Regulated Environment. Military Aviation Authority (MAA) Form 4 holder (Management Personnel).Providing 80% fit-for-purpose aircraft to meet daily VIP & VVIP tasking for 32 (TR) Sqn at RAF Northolt and maximizing aircraft availability for deployed assets operating in support of Op Kipion (Afghanistan). Management of aircraft handling and airfield services for over 10,000 movements per annum at RAF Northolt’s busy VIP & VVIP Terminal.  MAP-01 Authority Level J delegated Authority, approved by the Engineering Authority to defer Scheduled Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and authorize flying limitations. Authorize full or partial flight testing of 32(TR) Sqn aircraft. Responsibility for approving associated Engineering Authorizations for staff, engineering standards and practices. Functional line management for 120 aerospace engineering personnel, working a 24/7 maintenance support solution. Accountable to the Contract Manager for all financial elements of the aircraft maintenance department (Fwd & Depth). Ensuring that all contractual elements/deliverables from the aircraft engineering department(s) are met and complied with.
