Mission Statement:Our aim is to bring both popular and esoteric theatre to communities throughout Devon and the South West of England. We seek to encourage young people to engage with us in drama in its many forms and to provide opportunity for both experienced and inexperienced adult thespians to give wings to their talents. By knowledge and experience exchange amongst members and through invited tutors, we will further educate all participants, whether performing or observing, in the life-enriching world of the performing arts. Teignmouth Touring Theatre Company (3tc) came into being in May 2015. The group started life to offer a platform for actors and audience alike to enjoy larger scale theatre in venues around South Devon – possibly going farther afield when the opportunity or invitation presents itself.Initially we are booked to appear at location in Teignmouth, Brixham and, to cater for our Newton Abbot audiences, the really exciting venue of Seale Hayne. Looking further ahead, we hope to continue using these venues for future production whilst spreading our wings to wider venues across Teignbridge, Torbay and the South Hams.The essence of the group is to bring our productions to our audiences, to enjoy the excitement of touring and to experience working the same plays in different spaces. In all cases it is envisaged that a percentage of our excess income will be given to chosen charities while the balance will be re-invested into the groups’ facilities and future productions.3tc is not designed to compete with other performance groups in the area, rather it will seek to augment what is already on offer and to work, where possible, with such groups. There is richness in diversity and we hope to be seen as further benefiting the theatre community rather than diluting it.

Caseworkers spend their time visiting our clients, often former Service men and women, living in their local community. During these visits they provide friendly advice and discuss the support our clients might need. Once the Caseworker has assessed these needs, they will then help clients to access the right assistance, for example financial support.Volunteering with SSAFA is special because you get to see first hand the difference you make to people’s lives. As a Caseworker you will work with clients and other organisations throughout each case, keeping everybody up to date with progress and letting them know the outcome.
