Performed liaison activities between paint engineering and plant personnel involving all phases of project management. Project management included projects up to $9M with yearly projected savings in excess of $9.8M. Items include project concepts, appropriation requests; obtain funding, writing scope of work for quoting, award of contracts, and managing projects from start to final completion and production readiness. Managed contractor personnel and coordinated contractor activities to assure a timely and smooth installation. Made timely decisions to assure that deliverables were met. Tracked progress and processed invoices as required. Assisted maintenance and production personnel with complex installation and operational problems. Coordinated personnel and materials to assure that projects were on schedule and completed. Maintained the plant’s paint shop asset database. Assisted various Subject Matter Expert personnel in performance of their activities. Responsible for paint shop gas train and boiler inspections to assure system safety and compliance with Ohio State Department of Commerce regulations.
