I currently work for an exciting company which was named the fastest growing printer consumables business from 2015-2016 within the UK. Since joining CTS in 2012 we have trebled our annual turnover and grown from 5 to 18 staff. My current roles at CTS include:* Product Sourcing from my European, American and Far East contacts. Looking at marketing trends within the UK. Forecasting within a very fast growing company, product and transportation time-scales are critical.* Currency variations with buying product from Europe € ,Far East $ and U.S $.* Looking into shipping and landed costs to be incorporated into your sales cost. This is both with Air, LCL and Container Shipments.* Using a comprehensive algorithm written in Excel to produce our forecasted re-order figure per product line.* Extensive product and supplier knowledge within the consumables industry. I subscribe to Recycler magazine to keep up to date with the latest technologies within the industry. * I annually visit the Reman Expo show in Frankfurt to meet with our suppliers and listen to the latest issues the industry has faced in various seminars.* Annual discussions with our suppliers on failure rates which are supplied by individual SKU %. * Meetings with each individual supplier to discuss annualised spend and rebate incentives.* I have attended Freight courses with Expeditors which has shown the importance of Eco Terms, who is liable for the goods during transportation. Wincanton Plc on behalf of Nestlé PurinaOperations Shift Manager* In charge of 50 Warehouse Operatives rotating across x3 different shifts and between 12 – 20+ Agency members on shift at the same time.* Seconded to Jenks in Milton Keynes for 3 months during start up as a Shift Manager. * Completed several projects from updating company procedures and safe systems of work, pallet consolidation procedure, introduction of bump caps and also site evaluation and questionnaires. * Ensuring KPI figures are met as well as informing the teams on performance.* Experienced in WMS, MC’s, Spacemaster and Manhattan as well as Cognos Impromptu. * Trained Warehouse Operatives in their tasks.* Trained to use all the various MHE Vehicles.* Very experience within the R.D.O Despatch Area, Goods In and Pick Desk.* Health and Safety Presentations (Sheila Briefs) presented to each individual team of the importance of Safety within the warehouse. Completing of Rivo reports after accidents and incidents have taken place. * Managing R.T.W’s and sickness on shift including counselling notes.* Resource plans and L.D.F’s completed. * Fully Automated Site with a 4,000 pallet space capacity low bay and a 69,483 pallet space high bay. * Managing a Co-pack area with multiple lines running as well as the Warehouse floor.* Managing a Multi User Site for Wincanton on behalf of Nestle Purina Pet Food, Halfords, Tesco’s, HMV, APL Books and Argos. * Transport Change over form Eddie Stobarts to Nestle Transport implementing new systems and procedures. * Knowledge of the system and product to instil confidence within the client.
