left school at 16 and became a yts apprentice mechanic at A G Potters of Framlingham on commercial vehicles, did 4 years city and guilds in motor vehicle technology. redundancy forced me into a smaller garage job but working on cars , Van's and hgvs. Then a job offer got me into agriculture working for a farming contractor, twirling spanners still but also tractor driving . Which then lead me to work at Renault Agriculture East Anglia , a new dealership that had opened up nearer home working again as a mechanic. Then the urge to earn more and see the uk took me to C & P soilcare , interesting job operating soil aeration machines on golf courses and sports fields all over the country. then a job offer from a friend got me back into agriculture as a tractor driver for harvest of 98 . Then as my role was coming to an end for the season I got the job with Skyhigh Access , delivering and demonstrating access equipment for hire . stayed there till 2017 when I felt the need to change and answered an advert for Dorling transport for a class C + E driver. They put me through my truck mounted forklift licence on the Saturday and I started work on the Monday.
