Air Programmes Executive responsible for delivering sustainment services for our air launched portfolio and the development and provision of training simulation systems. Also have been responsible for establishing a joint Customer / MBDA team addressing the challenges of Secret Connectivity and have introduced 3 such solutions across the extended business over the last 2 years as part of a Directorate transformation programme.

Responsible for five departments providing functional support to a multiplicity of domestic and overseas projects. The role includes functional improvement and continuous development of business capabilities / skills. The role entails developing strategic service based opportunities to enhance business delivery and the utilisation of emerging technologies in the in-service environment. This requires management of business change and more importantly behavioural change.

Responsible for managing the implementation and delivery of an innovative availability support multi-national contract (UK, IT, FR) Naval Air Defence system on T45. Specific responsibilities include delivery to cost and time, bidding activities for significant future business and the mangement of the project teams directly reporting to me from a leadership, strategic and resource perspective. Also responsible for a 4 year development programme and providing support to other contracts in various parts of their life-cycle. This also gave me an opportunity to embed the strategic change and behaviour charters established throughout my time in my previous role.

Project managed the internal strategic change programme aimed at improving efficiency, effectiveness and delivery through a series of key objectives and change teams. Project managed a significant and innovative change programme with primary UK Customer through a joint Industry and Customer team. The change programme won a key innovation award, for delivering financial, business gains and offered a unique single source procurement strategy for Complex Weapons.

Responsible for a small team of project managers delivering the needs of our UK customers for a series of Naval defence products.

Managed a series of ILS programmes from bid, through concept and assessment phases for UAV, anti tank and live training products.
