Antarctic Quest 21 was a scientific research and educational outreach expedition, which celebrates the life and legacy of Sir Ernest Shackleton.Setting sail in December 2021 we conducted a seven-week ski mountaineering expedition during which we attempted to cross the Antarctic Peninsula from coast to coast over the Forbidden Plateau. We successfully conducted a range of scientific experiments for universities and researchers across the globe, the results of which are currently being analysed. Executive leadership role managing movement of personnel, equipment and materiel into, out of and within South Sudan for 300-strong British Army humanitarian engineering task force.Worked in partnership with UNMISS headquarters and the government of South Sudan to manage the close down and withdrawal of a successful four-year operation.Oversaw life support and enabling contracts, negotiated improved communication support at no additional cost.

The British Services Antarctic Expedition was a two-month exploratory ski mountaineering and scientific research expedition to the Antarctic Peninsula. Over 2-years, and in addition to normal role, led the planning, organisation and execution of logistics for this 24-person strong expedition, to time and to a very tight £0.75m budget.
