Following Seequent joining the Bentley Systems Inc. family of companies.I continue to work within a team of consultants in an AGILE environment. We collaborate with stakeholders, other disciplines and each other to ensure the best outcomes for ground investigation clients. Primarily our work is with new clients although we do deliver bespoke services to existing clients too. Such services might include training, template design, consultancy, project management, technical advice etc.I have been evolving and managing the training offerings for the broader Ground Information Management team. This includes strategic planning, developing training programs and content (especially blended/hybrid learning), developing new content, mentoring parallel teams to deliver content, promoting and supporting delivery within the wider organisation.

I have been assisting clients in the ground investigation (geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, geo-environmental specialists, soil and chemical laboratories) with the implementation of software solutions, primarily the HoleBASE Suite. Serving as both the implementation manager and consultant on various plans, liaising with clients to identify their key requirements and meet them in a timely fashion. Particular skills includes the diagnosis of the clients actual requirements, template design, training in various forms and support. In particular, I have been responsible for developing our training offerings. This includes migrating from exclusively in person/classroom based training to include blended/hybrid mechanisms and eLearning. These activities covered all aspects of training development from preparing strategic proposals for executive review, developing and delivering course content, overseeing processing, etc.

Definition of the strategic approach of the support services team in response to business needs. In execution this includes the development of staff through the creation of individually tailored Personal Development Plans with regular review.A key role on the project portfolio team who co-ordinated project schedule, allocating resources to met stipulated deadlines whilst incoporating the impacts of support activities. This role was performed under the auspicies of the Business As Usual (BAU) Co-ordinator, acting as both the manager of the helpdesk and a business/user advocate.
