Having developed campaigns across four continents, I fully understand the cultural connective tissue that unites us -- regardless of age, language, geography, socioeconomics, ethnicity or sexual orientation.I have provided thought leadership and served the industries of Advertising, Publishing, Consumer Marketing, Not-for-Profit, and Public Policy as a senior executive, consultant and commentator offering expertise in the areas of consumer insights, new media, multicultural marketing, politics, branding, and cause-related platforms. The group has worked with leading brands such as: NIKE, Target, EA Sports, Spotify, Coca Cola, Sprite, Diet Coke, Pepsi, Virgin, Brand Jordan, Disney, NBA, FIFA and New Balance, just to name a notable few.Notable Projects: Nike Elementos: (Brazil/Mexico) The “Play It Forward” program, brought together 15 nonprofits and over 10,000 youth for a weekend of sports, play, arts and community enhancement. The idea was to create democratized areas for all kids to play and make cross cultural connections with talent from abroad. Over the course of the weekend 12 basketball courts and soccer fields were refurbished by youth volunteers and Nike Staff. The weekend activities culminated in a free concert at Centro Public Park in Rio de Janeiro. Boost Mobile/Rock Corps:Channeled the power of music and celebrity towards making volunteerism a part of youth lifestyle culture. We helped develop a national cause marketing campaign in partnership with Rock Corps. We launched a brand and communications platform for youth ages 16 to 25 for the purpose of community engagement. “You have to Give to Get,” was developed with the idea that each volunteer would provide 4 hours of community service in exchange for a once in a lifetime musical experience. The program engaged >300k youth in volunteer work, > 1million hours across 25 cities.Nike Zoom League:Established free coach training clinics for both volunteer & professional coaches to increase basketball IQ, skills assessment, training curriculum, and talent recruitment. The program graduated >250 new coaches within the Tri-State Area, 30 new summer leagues and tournaments, while increasing consumer sentiment and awareness via the NIKE NYC marketing initiative. -
