Interim Director for Facility for Intelligent Fabrication (FIF), an applied research group for robotic welding and associated Industry 4.0 technology. Partnering with Industry for translational research in an effort to lift the Australian manufacturing capability using the latest digital and advanced manufacturing technology.

Faculty Advisor for the UOW Motorsport team, a student led team who built an open-wheeler race car each year to compete in the Austrasian FSAE competition. My role was to guide the team transition from a fossil fuel engine to a fully electric, rear wheel independent drive race car.

Research Fellowing with the Facility for Intelligent Fabrication, working on robotics, automation and industry 4.0 technologies for Australian industries.

Research Fellow on an ARC Discovery Project, investigating drive-by-wire technology for electric vehicles. This work primarily involved dynamic simulation modelling of vehicle systems using Matlab Simscape. A full vehicle customised testbed was also developed, with fully independent 4wd, enabling torque vectoring, along with active steering.

Research Fellow for Superconducting Saturated Core Fault Current Limiters. I carried out research and product development, primarily employing 2D/3D transient electromagnetic Finite Element Analysis. This work was carried out under an ARC Linkage Project with Zenergy Power/Applied Superconductors Limited, two global companies delivering the world's first 11kV and 33kV FCLs using MgB2 superconducting magnets.
