Built small team to form a UK base for ZTE. Created the team for ZTE to secure business in the UK market. Headed up team to bring a major Public Chinese Telecomms manufacturer into the UK. Involved JV, and acquisition of UK Company to ensure success of this task.

Established the business to provide Intelligent Open Access Comms Systems. Took on to the OTC BB NASDAQ (1997) and AIM Market (April 2000). The Order Book developed from £700K in 1999 to £6.4 million in 2000 with projections for 2001 being in excess of £15 million.

Established the business and a specialist company providing secure Communications to the MOD and Government departments in the UK. The company was sold to US NASDAQ listed Company Intelect. The company grew from zero to £4 million earnings in 3 years profitable with a strong and secure future. Our success within the UK and International markets enabled growth that allowed the company to be sold to a U.S. NASDAQ supplier.

I formed and built Electronic Marketing Solutions Limited (EMSL) which after building the order book to £3m and a team of 25 people sold the business to Intelect a US NASDAQ business. EMSL then became Intelect UK Ltd. The EMSL product base was to provide secure communication systems and air traffic control systems.

Developed one of the UK's leading water sports centres training throughout the whole of the RYA spectrum providing accommodation and all other associated services. The company developed from an annual turnover of £50K to £3 million in just three years.

As a junior shareholder of two formed a new Company and became the MOD's most successful contractor for three consecutive years. The company developed from a no income base to £20 million turnover in 10 years. Contracts won to provide tri-service frequency management system and tri-service EW systems including GCHQ alongside many other projects..

Developed business in Africa, the Middle East and UK. Contracts were secured with the MOD, Post Office, Bahrain, Nigeria, Oman and United Emirates.

Headhunted by Plessey, whilst on expedition in Colombia with HM Forces, trialling their equipment (PRC320), to develop their sales efforts in The Far East. Won contracts for the company in Pakistan, Phippines, Qata, Oman and India.

Served in many different theatres including Middle East, Far East, South America, Europe and The UK. Managed, planned and operated communications systems throughout the total communications spectrum. Organised and helped to lead major scientific expedition to Colombia in 1977. Commissioned into the TA as a Captain for 3 years.
