As the Artistic Director/Founder of ZiRu Dance, a BIPOC company led by an AAPI female, I have been creating and producing dance works that reflect and celebrate cultural diversity, social justice, and community wellness for over 17 years. With a human centered design approach, I collaborate with various partners in the SF Bay Area to address the issues and needs of our community through dance as a catalyst for healing and change.I have a proven track record of driving impactful change in DEI organizations, strategic partnerships, grant writing, grantmaking and philanthropy across diverse sectors, including the Performing Arts,mental health, early childhood education and immigrant support. With a background in management, fundraising, grantwriting, grant management and international touring, having brought ZiRu Dance to Asia several times to foster cross-cultural dialogue and exchange. I offer executive consulting services for performing arts organizations, and served as a board member for several renowned dance theater companies, such as Joe Goode Performance Group, in San Francisco. I build bridges, create opportunities, and shared spaces between people on stage and in life. My commitment is to driving transformative change in communities through innovative artistry, programming and mentorship.
