About Phil Elwell

25 years experience in the IT industry. Prince II and ITIL qualified. Leading transformation from distributed and uncontrolled IT strategy to a networked and consolidated Data Center strategy on a variety of platforms including IBM AIX, Windows on HP and DELL Intel and Cisco networking. Controlling the IT infrastructure for a Global Software house, managing, moving and constructing Data centers in the UK and India, with largely Intel platforms and Cisco networking. Management of supplier contracts ensuring efficient and effective service to the business. Latterly working on one of the world’s largest IT projects as project management on an infrastructure of IBM AIX, Windows, Linux and advising on Green data center policy for procurement in the UK.
