Had to stop hospitality after dvt blood clot formed in my intestine. Battled through 5 year depression & anxiety from cancer cells and ulcerative colitis after surgery that took 6 feet of my small and part of large intestine. There is good news. Found peace going back to school while taking care of my 12 year old step daughter and now my biological 3 year old. You can beat the hardships in your life whether mental or physical. The road sometimes is very long and hard, trust yourself, work through the hard times, seek help when needed. Looking forward to being healthy and trying something new. Very special thanks to the many doctors I have had these past 5 years. I feel great and look forward in many new challenges while raising two daughters.Have to thank the Doctors, Nurse´s, assistants, Newport & Rhode Island Hospital´s University Gastro in Portsmouth and so many more who helped me get back.Specifically Dr. Nadimpali (University G.I.) , Dr. Papa (Hemotoligist Newport Hospital), Dr. Paul Delgurcio, Dr. Stevens (Rhode Island Hospital) Dr Paul Sanders and Newport Mental Health.
